Blue Doors of Thira, Greece

I’m reposting this blog because the schedule blog I setup identifies it is posted but for some reason it does not appear on this page.

Some doors we encountered in the village of Thira (as I recall) on the island of Santorini, Greece in the summer of 2014.  Seems like most of the colors of the buildings and doors contain the colors of blue and white like the color of the Greek flag.

  1. Greece is so photogenic. Everywhere you go, you can’t fail to find something to photograph. The wonderful light is everywhere.

    1. Yes; I agree. Greece had a lot of history and photo opts; the only problem is their economy. I understand the islands do not pay taxes to Athens to help resolve their deficits and the islands shut down operations in September for a few months vacation; and we wonder why their economy needs bailing out.
